It is advisable to keep your primary healthcare provider informed about any medication prescribed by one of Almadelic’ partner clinicians.
What is a psychiatric nurse practitioner?
A Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) is a nurse with advanced clinical training in psychiatry, having completed a master's or doctoral degree program. Payments & Billing
How much does it cost?
Pricing varies based on the package that you choose together with your treatment recommendation. We offer a variety of packages and add-ons to tailor your experience and your budget.
How is the pricing structured for the program?
In an effort to make services more affordable, we offer packaged base services. For detailed information on pricing and payment plans,
Please visit our Packages & Pricing plans here.
Do I have to commit to the full program, or can I cancel anytime?
While completing the entire program is recommended for optimal clinical outcomes, you have the flexibility to cancel your program at any time for a refund of any medication or services that have not yet been completed or shipped.
Please review our refund policy for specific details on cancellations and refunds.
Can I pay for one treatment session at a time?
Not as a new patient. Our protocol involves multiple sessions spread over a period of time, recommended by your medical clinician. Our approach is based on the effectiveness of a series of medical sessions. This method has shown increased efficacy and success in the treatment process. However, you can add sessions individually to a package in order to better tailor your treatment to both your goals and your budget. You can cancel at any time and get a full refund for any unused portions of your package.
Do you accept insurance?
We do not accept insurance for payments. However, we can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement of covered portions of your package. We encourage you to review your benefits with your health insurance provider.
Is Ketamine covered by my insurance?
At Almadelic, we understand that the cost of ketamine therapy can be a significant concern for many patients. While we do not accept insurance directly, we strive to make our treatment programs as accessible and affordable as possible. Here's what you should know about insurance coverage and payment options at Almadelic:
Out-of-Network Coverage
Although Almadelic does not bill insurance companies directly, we can provide you with a superbill, which is a detailed invoice of the services you receive. You can submit this superbill to your insurance provider to seek potential reimbursement for a portion of your treatment costs. However, the amount of reimbursement, if any, will depend on your specific insurance plan and its out-of-network benefits.
Contacting Your Insurance Provider
We recommend that you reach out to your insurance company directly to inquire about your out-of-network coverage for mental health treatments, specifically ketamine therapy. Your insurance provider can give you more information about your plan's benefits, deductibles, and any requirements for reimbursement.
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) or Health Savings Accounts (HSA)
If you have an FSA or HSA, you may be able to use these funds to pay for a portion of your ketamine therapy at Almadelic. These accounts allow you to set aside pre-tax dollars for eligible medical expenses, which can help offset the cost of treatment. Check with your FSA or HSA administrator to confirm that ketamine therapy is an eligible expense under your plan.
Financing Options
While Almadelic does not offer in-house financing, we can provide you with information about third-party financing options that may help you manage the cost of treatment. These financing companies offer loans or payment plans specifically designed for medical expenses, often with competitive interest rates and flexible repayment terms.
Transparent Pricing
At Almadelic, we believe in transparent pricing for our ketamine therapy programs. We will provide you with a clear outline of the costs associated with your treatment plan, including the number of sessions, any additional services, and the total estimated cost. This transparency allows you to make informed decisions about your care and budget accordingly.
Prioritizing Your Mental Health
While the cost of ketamine therapy can be a significant investment, it's essential to prioritize your mental health and well-being. Almadelic is committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care to help you manage your mental health symptoms and improve your quality of life. We encourage you to discuss any financial concerns with our team, and we will do our best to help you find a solution that works for your unique situation.
If you have any further questions about insurance coverage, payment options, or the cost of ketamine therapy at Almadelic, please don't hesitate to reach out to our staff. We are here to support you throughout your treatment journey and will work with you to make your care as accessible and affordable as possible.
How do I cancel or request a refund?
If during your medical assessment you are declared not to be a candidate at this time, you will receive a full refund for the balance of your package. You will only pay for your medical assessment billed at $150. If you choose to cancel at any time during your treatment, you are eligible for a full refund of the balance of any unused appointments or medication that has not yet shipped. We cannot refund shipped medication or past appointments.
To request a refund please email support@almadelic.com and we will be happy to assist you.

Almadelic operates in the following states based on the licensed locations of each of their treating medical professionals:
States We Currently Service
Colorado
Florida
Ohio
Can I participate if I live close to a state where Almadelic services are available?
In order to book a telehealth appointment for treatment evaluation you must be present in a state where your selected clinical or physician is licensed. When booking your appointment, select the state where you will be physically present during the appointment and have a valid address where your medication would be shipped. Our system will match you with a licensed provider in your area or alert you if we are unable to service your location. Certainly, if you can be physically present in one of these states for your two psychiatric evaluation visits and provide a valid address in that state for medication shipment, you are eligible for treatment. Once you receive the prescribed medication, you can travel with it and have your therapy sessions in other states.
What medical concerns might disqualify me from treatment?
Various psychological and medical factors could potentially disqualify individuals from ketamine treatment, such as a personal history of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, severe depression, active suicidal ideation, specific medications, very high or low blood pressure, heart arrhythmia, or epilepsy/seizures. It's essential to discuss your medical history thoroughly during the initial consultation and medical assessment.
Is Almadelic available to individuals outside of the United States?
No. Currently, our services are exclusively available within the United States. We do not operate outside of the country at this time.
My medical evaluation resulted in me being qualified for treatment and a prescription was written for me for KAP therapy. What happens next?
Prescription fulfillment:
After the assessment, if the patient qualifies for ketamine treatment, a prescription is sent to a licensed pharmacy. The pharmacy then fulfills the prescription and delivers the medication directly to the patient.
Essential Healing Welcome Kit:
A blood pressure monitor to track the patient's vitals during treatment.
A relaxing eye mask to promote comfort during ketamine sessions.
A journal for the patient to record their experiences and insights.
Comprehensive information to help the patient prepare for the start of their program.
Storage space for the patient's medication.
Shipment notification:
Patients are notified of their prescription and Welcome Kit shipments and provided with tracking information to monitor the delivery progress.
Session preparation call:
Almadelic's system follows up with the patient to schedule a session preparation call. During this call, an experienced staff member guides the patient through the process of preparing for a ketamine session and answers any questions they may have.
First session scheduling:
The patient schedules their first ketamine session and arranges for an adult chaperone to be present for safety purposes.
Post-session support:
After the patient's first session, Almadelic's team reaches out to provide a post-session checkup and offer integration support to help the patient process their experience and incorporate any insights into their daily life.
Ongoing monitoring and adjustments:
The patient's medical team closely monitors their results and feedback throughout the treatment process. They assist with any needed or recommended changes in dosage or frequency to ensure the patient's program is successful and well-tailored to their individual needs.
Follow-up consultation:
Within the first 2-4 weeks of starting treatment, the patient meets again with their clinician for a follow-up consultation. During this meeting, they discuss the patient's progress, make any necessary adjustments to the treatment plan, and discuss the continuation of the program and prescription renewal when appropriate.
At Almadelic, we strive to provide a comprehensive and supportive ketamine treatment experience, from the initial assessment and qualification process to ongoing monitoring and follow-up care. Our team is dedicated to ensuring that each patient receives personalized attention and the resources they need to achieve optimal outcomes in their mental health journey.
